When you go, be remembered not by the wealth you generated but what you did with
your life that it impacted someone else’s for the better! We empower the youth to
become changemakers and work towards improving the quality of education.
Improving the quality of education through participatory methods,
story telling, activity based learning , games and crafts.
Engaging students in enhanced learning experiences through Book Designing, Fun with Typography workshops.
Showing children films students across schools. Film screenings were followed by engaging discussions.
Providing 2 months course on Digital Literacy and Internet, to use as a tool for utilities, education.
How do we convince the children to go beyond thinking just for engineering and medical. What are the career prospects in things like agriculture?
“I wanted to be a talented girl who takes decisions for herself. I am from
minority where girls get very less facilities to do things on their own.
We were not allowed to go out from home to anywhere else easily.
But, these issues are gone now after joining this organization.
One of the purpose of HHT is to uplift women and help them in confidence
building. We are having our annual day in which its compulsory for all
champions to participate in its cultural programmes. This is a wonderful
opportunity for us as most of us did not sing or dance before this upcoming
event anywhere. Apart from this, I enjoy conducting the sessions of reading,
writing, storytelling, art and craft etc for the children of our partner schools.”
Neda Afreen, Champion 2014 batch of the Youth Leadership Development Program
“I believe that whatever HHT is trying to teach us through Digital Literacy Course is very well understood by all. We understand importance of education in real terms. We are not only given notes and practical lessons, but the explanation to every topic is really good. We feel proud on ourselves that we study in this Computer Course provided by HHT. ”
– Shahin Perween, Digital Literacy & IAC Student
“I see many changes in myself now from the time I started. I can move around anywhere alone. By conducting the sessions and activities in the Pick Me, Click Me, Educate Me Project, I also gain knowledge which is done every week on one particular day. The teachers of our partner schools also respect us now seeing our dedication and regularity. I feel really glad when the children /students also enjoy the activities. I have been attached to this organisation so much that I could not stop myself after the demise of my father last year October. I wait for the annual Day every year. It is very exciting, as we are having few cultural activities for the first time where I am also participating to perform on the stage”
